Pretty stressful watch. Felt more from the point of view of a soldier, claustrophobic. Still some omniscient narrative camera. But the story is less like a Saving Private Ryan or Black Hawk Down where script, music and “movie making” feel very present. This was still cinematic but more in the room, which feels way worse.
The air support pass over the road is viceral and a new thing I haven’t seen before like this.
